Baseball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

The Greenville Patriots lost 14-3 to the Alcovy Tigers on Saturday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Alcovy, their win ended a 15-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-21.

Looking ahead, Greenville will host Mt. Zion at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alcovy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-0 loss against Habersham Central on the 14th.
