Basketball Recap: Otto-Eldred Skates Past Galeton with Ease

Otto-Eldred won the last time they faced Galeton and things went their way on Friday too. The Otto-Eldred Terrors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Galeton Tigers 52-19. The Terrors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Otto-Eldred found their leader in sophomore Rayel Hakes, who posted eight points. Addie Bell was another key player, putting up four points and four steals.

The win (which was Otto-Eldred's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points per game. As for Galeton, they dropped their record down to 0-17 with the defeat, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Otto-Eldred wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-21 victory against Austin on the 28th. Galeton has also already played their next game, a 46-13 loss against Sayre on the 25th.
