Football Recap: Holly Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Holly Springs had taken Cary down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Golden Hawks took a 36-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Imps. The Golden Hawks gained 57 more yards on the day, but it was the Imps that made the best use of them.

Cole Pare threw for 112 yards on nine of 14 attempts. Lamar Daniels was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards.

It was another big night for Nick Grena, who rushed for 187 yards and three TDs for Cary.

Holly Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cary, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
