North Springs came out on top against Lovett on Monday thanks in part to Leila Madesko's efforts. Madesko scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Looking ahead, Madesko and North Springs will take on St. Pius X Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans haven't beaten the Golden Lions recently, having gone 0-9 since August of 2016.
