Softball Recap: Guymon Takes a Loss

If Guymon was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Altus on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 5-1 to the Bulldogs on Thursday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

Guymon has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-22-1 record this season. As for Altus, their win bumped their record up to 11-18.

Guymon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Altus, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against Carl Albert on the 9th.
