Softball Recap: Rocky Ford Takes a Loss

Rocky Ford was the 6-3 winner over Gunnison when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Meloneers fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 11-10 on Friday. The Meloneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rocky Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Gunnison, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Rocky Ford and Gunnison will both be playing Strasburg the next time they take the field. The Cowboys will head out to face the Indians at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Meloneers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
