Mount Calvary Christian found their leader in underclassman Kylie Masters, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Masters set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Kathleen Smucker was another key contributor, scoring two points along with ten rebounds.
Mount Calvary Christian's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 20.83 points. As for Covenant Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Calvary Christian will take on West Shore Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Covenant Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on High Point Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
