It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Skyline had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Oakland Tech Bulldogs 1-0. The Titans' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.

Skyline's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Dallas Tucker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Skyline has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Oakland Tech, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-11.

As of now, neither Skyline nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
