Volleyball Recap: Murphy Comes Up Short

Murphy lost against Cherokee back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Braves, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-17.

Cherokee's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dvdaya Swimmer, who had 11 digs and three aces. Swimmer is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Murphy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Cherokee, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Murphy has already played their next matchup (against Summit Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cherokee, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Boyd on the 29th.
