Softball Recap: Jenks Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Charles Page on Saturday, Jenks came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Mannford Pirates by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Pirates when the teams met back in August of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jenks' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Mannford, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Mannford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Bixby on the 6th. Hopefully Jenks paid attention to the Pirates' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pirates at 2:45 p.m. on Sunday.
