Softball Recap: Davenport Takes a Loss

Davenport fell victim to Red Oak and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 on Thursday.

Davenport dropped their record down to 23-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Red Oak, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

As of now, neither Davenport nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
