The Monticello Magic will challenge the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monticello is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
Monticello is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Minnesota's top teams: Buffalo, who was ranked 16th at the time (Monticello was ranked ninth). The Magic were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Bison on Saturday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Cale Holthaus made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
In other batting news, Dom Marschel was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Carter Anderson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Meanwhile, St. Cloud Cathedral had just enough and edged out Wadena-Deer Creek 5-3 on Monday.
The team relied heavily on Sam Oliver, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Oliver, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.
St. Cloud Cathedral was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wadena-Deer Creek only posted a batting average of .276.
St. Cloud Cathedral's win bumped their record up to 25-9. As for Monticello, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
