Basketball Recap: Armstrong Takes a Loss

Armstrong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 44-26 fall against the Penn Hills Indians. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the River Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-38 back in December of 2024.

Armstrong's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Penn Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 3-13.

Armstrong will challenge Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Armstrong is facing Gateway at the right time seeing as Gateway is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Penn Hills, they will be playing at home against Shaler Area at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shaler Area will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Penn Hills surely won't give up without a fight.
