Softball Recap: Lakewood Victorious

Lakewood won the last time they faced Ralston Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers walked away with an 11-6 win over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Madison Reisbeck was excellent, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alanni Maddux, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Lakewood hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least one batters in three consecutive matches.

Lakewood's record now sits at 9-3. As for Ralston Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Lakewood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-9 victory against Chatfield on the 13th. As for Ralston Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Arvada West on the 11th.
