 Calvary Christian and Glenwood are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Calvary Christian Knights will head out on the road to  square off against  the Glenwood Gators at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Last Tuesday,  everything went Calvary Christian's way against Central Georgia Arts as Calvary Christian made off with  a  9-1 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Calvary Christian.
  Griffin Barbaree was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Barbaree was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other pitching news,  Tommy Irving looked comfortable as he  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Peyton Morrison, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Cam Houston, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Glenwood waltzed into their game  on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They beat the Fighting Rangers by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  12-0.
 Calvary Christian's record now sits at 17-5. As for Glenwood, their record now sits at 12-5.
 Calvary Christian skirted past Glenwood  2-1 when the teams last played  back in March of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calvary Christian since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
