Baseball Recap: Bellevue Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Bellevue put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Ingraham Rams. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Jessie Gonzales was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Ellis Oeltjen was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Bellevue hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ingraham struck out 11 times.

Bellevue's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ingraham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Bellevue wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 23-1 win against Evergreen on the 20th. As for Ingraham, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-2 loss against Roosevelt on the 23rd.
