Football Game Preview: Bennington Bulldogs vs. Republic County Buffaloes

The Bennington Bulldogs will face off against the Republic County Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bennington hasn't scored more than six points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-6, which was the final score in Bennington's tilt against Marion last Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Republic County, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 30-8 margin over Lyons on Friday.

Republic County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Connor Martin and Aden Morris.

Bennington's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Republic County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
