Softball Recap: Tina-Avalon Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Tina-Avalon was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against the Higbee Tigers, falling 17-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Tina-Avalon now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Higbee, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tina-Avalon will host Hale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Higbee, they will square off against Norborne at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
