Colonel Richardson will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating North Caroline, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Colonels blew past the Bulldogs 56-7 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Colonels, who have now won five contests by 32 points or more so far this season.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jazir Dickerson and Derrick Mitchell. Dickerson rushed for 272 yards and four scores on only ten carries while Mitchell rushed for 192 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. Mitchell really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.
Colonel Richardson's run defense was locked in: North Caroline could only muster 2.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Jalen Epps for the heroic effort on defense: he. Colonel Richardson didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 13.5.

Epps refused to say out of the backfield, picking up two sacks all by himself. Another thorn in North Caroline's side was Epps, who picked up two sacks and made eight total tackles.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Cambridge-South Dorchester was not quite Easton's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 27-21 to the Warriors. While the Vikings didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 7-0 in the first quarter.
Colonel Richardson pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.0 points over those games. As for Cambridge-South Dorchester, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.
Colonel Richardson beat Cambridge-South Dorchester 38-28 in their previous matchup back in October. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Vikings' Sterling Perkins Jr, who rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.
