Softball Recap: Stoutland's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Newburg on Friday, Stoutland came back down to earth. The Tigers took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Osage Indians on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 7-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Stoutland's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-2. As for Osage, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stoutland will welcome Iberia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Osage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Laquey at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
