Volleyball Recap: South Park Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Woodland Park Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Burros of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

South Park took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-9, 25-12.

Hope Cantrell had a dynamite game For Woodland Park., getting five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave Cantrell a new career-high. Elliana Eichelberg also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

South Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Woodland Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season.

South Park will head out on the road to take on Trinidad at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Woodland Park, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Colorado Springs Christian on the 23rd.
