Volleyball Recap: East Jefferson Takes a Loss

East Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the New Iberia Yellowjackets. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Yellowjackets when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for New Iberia, they pushed their record up to 5-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

East Jefferson has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. James on the 4th. As for New Iberia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Houma Christian on the 4th.
