Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Williamsburg). They blew past the Marion Wolves 18-3 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Williamsburg's third in a row) raised their record to 21-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Marion, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-21-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Williamsburg beat the Wolves by a score of 10-2 later that day.
