Football Recap: Eagle Falls Short of Rocky Mountain in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Eagle and Rocky Mountain squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Eagle had to settle for second. They took a 13-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grizzlies. The Mustangs were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the four games prior), but the Grizzlies' defense proved too tough.

Eagle's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of NOAH BURNHAM, who rushed for 142 yards, and AUSTIN RAMSEY, who rushed for 79 yards and one score. BURNHAM's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 142 rushing yards.

Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Rocky Mountain, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Eagle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rocky Mountain, they will square off against Rigby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
