Softball Recap: St. Pius X Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

St. Pius X kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 13-1 to the Mid-Buchanan Dragons. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Mid-Buchanan's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, St. Pius X will head out on the road to square off against East Buchanan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mid-Buchanan, they will square off against Savannah at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
