How does it
work? Nominees are selected from
statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may
request their free account here.
Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every
Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll.
Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day
along with the next week's nominees.

Mayfield and 44 assists in a 3-2 win over North Royalton. Her 334
assists ranks third in Ohio this season. Has 1,291 career
assists.
* Maci Brown, Danbury (Lakeside)
VolleyballSenior had 42 digs in a 3-2 loss to St.
Joseph Central Catholic. Currently leads the state of Ohio with 300 digs
this season. Has 1,304 career
digs.
* Trey Moore, Wellington
FootballJunior had 27 tackles, a sack and fumble
recovery in a 21-14 win over Plymouth. Has 58 tackles in three games
this season.

* Garrett Lundy, Waynesville FootballSenior had a monster game in the Spartans 56-29 win over Brookville. Carried the ball 14 times for 172 yards and three TDs, caught five passes for 195 yards and two TDs, returned a kickoff 29 yards, punted twice for a 35.5-yard average, made 10 tackles and forced a fumble. Leads the SWBL in scoring (90 points), touchdowns (15), receiving yards (458) and tackles (41). Ranks third in rushing yards (485).
* Maddox Andrea, United (Hanoverton) Boys SoccerSenior leads the country with 31 goals and ranks third nationally with 65 points. Most recent outing was a four-goal, one-assist performance in an 8-1 win over Badger. Has six games this season with four-goals-or-more. Has netted 330 career points (146 goals and 38 assists).
* Owen Jurjavcic, East Palestine FootballSenior carried the ball 31 times for 314 yards and five TDs and completed 11-of-15 passes for 131 yards and a TD in a 42-27 win over David Anderson. Also had five tackles and a forced fumble. Has run for 825 yards and 11 TDs and thrown for 382 yards and five TDs for the 3-1 Bulldogs.
* Joshua Byers, Danville FootballSenior had 25 tackles (12 solo), four TFL and a rushing TD in a 20-8 win over Mt. Gilead. His 72 tackles ranks No. 2 nationally. Averaging 18 tackles-per-game.
* Isaac Coy, Unioto (Chillicothe) FootballSophomore completed 87% of his passes (20-of-23) for five TDs and 283 yards in a 35-0 win over Westfall. Has completed 59-of-87 passes for 954 yards and 13 TDs this season.
* Sophia Surmay, Dalton VolleyballSenior had 52 and 51 assists in back-to-back 3-2 wins over Smithville and Waynedale for the undefeated Bulldogs. Has 337 assists this season.
* Ryan Taylor, Rocky River FootballJunior completed 16-of-22 passes for 320 yards and four TDs and carried the ball 12 times for 123 yards and a TD in a 52-28 win over Valley Forge. Has thrown for 802 yards and 12 TDs this season.
* Daylee Sandlin, Greeneview (Jamestown) Girls SoccerJunior had 11 goals and four assists in wins over Springfield Catholic Central, Dayton Christian and Unioto. Her 22 goals ranks 15th nationally.

four assists in wins over Harrison Central, Cambridge and Oak Glen. Tied
for the state-lead with 24

quarterback carried the ball 16 times for 341 yards and three TDs in a
55-34 win over Dalton. His TDs came on ruins of three, 70 and 54 yards.
The victory was head coach Tiger LaVerde’s
250th.

* Josh Schnetzer, New Miami (Hamilton)
FootballSenior had a remarkable all-around game in a
40-20 win over Manchester. Intercepted three passes, averaged 34.7
yards on three kickoffs and returned one 82 yards for a TD and caught
four passes for 61 yards and a
TD.
* Alyse Christopher, Mt. Vernon
VolleyballSenior had 48, 42 and 42 assists in a loss
to Johnstown Northridge, a win over Watkins Memorial and a loss to
Newark, respectively. Her 260 assists ranks second in Ohio this
season.
* Nick Sylvia, Wheelersburg Boys
SoccerJunior moved to within two points of 200 for
his career with five goals in a 9-0 win over McDermott Northwest. Also
had four goals and two assists in a 12-0 win over Waverly. His 16 goals
currently ranks fifth nationally and his 35 points is seventh (and
second in the state).
* Vivian Henninger, Fairfield (Leesburg) Girls
SoccerSophomore scored five goals in a 12-0 win over
McDermott Northwest. Earlier this season she had four goals and three
assists in an 11-0 win over Peebles. Her 38 points and 16 goals
currently leads the state.
* Grady Kinsey, Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten)
FootballJunior surpassed 3,000 career rushing yards
with 298 and five TDs in a 62-21 win over Meadowbrook. Ran the ball 14
times for a 21.3-yard per carry average. Went for 217 yards and four TDs
in a 51-8 Week 1 win over Ellet. Carer numbers read 3,141 yards rushing
and 53 total TDs (with 50
rushing).
