Soccer Recap: Brentwood School Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brentwood School can now relate to. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Windward Wildcats who were credited with the win on Wednesday. The Windward Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Brentwood School Eagles' four. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Wildcats are ranked 73rd).

Brentwood School's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Windward, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Brentwood School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Windward, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Trabuco Hills on the 14th.
