Softball Recap: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Collins Hill Eagles

Hebron Christian barely beat Collins Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 14-4 win on Thursday. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Ainsley Trenbeath was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (three). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Juls Huber and Gabby Raysor did most of the damage at the plate: Huber went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while Raysor got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
