Basketball Game Preview: Arnold Marlins vs. Rutherford Rams

Arnold hasn't had much luck against Rutherford recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Arnold Marlins will head out to square off against the Rutherford Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Arnold came up short against South Walton and fell 50-43. The Marlins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Rutherford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 69-58 to Bay.

Arnold's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for Rutherford, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Arnold didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Rutherford when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-47 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Arnold since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
