Greensburg Salem won the last time they faced Gateway and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Greensburg Salem Golden Lions blew past the Gateway Gators, posting a 53-20 win. The Golden Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Greensburg Salem's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Vienna Jevicky led the charge by putting up ten points along with eight boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Heasley, who posted 14 points.

Greensburg Salem was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Greensburg Salem has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Gateway, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Greensburg Salem will welcome Greater Latrobe at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gateway, they are taking a road trip to take on Shaler Area at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Shaler Area has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 171 points over their last three games.
