Football Recap: Russell Piles Up the Points Against Larned

Russell put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the Larned Indians for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-0 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Broncos had established a 45-point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Russell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trey Zorn, who threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt. Wyatt Harmon was in the mix too, providing the Broncos with two scores.

Russell's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Larned, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Russell has already played their next contest (against Phillipsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Larned, they will square off against Cimarron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
