Football Recap: Basic Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Basic extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 2-7. They were beaten by the Liberty Patriots 49-7. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Jayveon Rose threw for 53 yards and one touchdown. Dallas Kasperek was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards.

As for Liberty, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games.

Liberty was led to victory by Anthony Alberro and Selby Griego. Alberro rushed for 113 yards and three scores on only eight carries, while Griego threw for 139 yards and a pair of TDs.
