Softball Recap: Jones County's Undefeated Season over After 11 Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Woodland on Tuesday, Jones County came back down to earth. The Greyhounds fell just short of the Social Circle Redskins by a score of 12-10 on Wednesday. The loss was the Greyhounds' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jones County fell to 10-1. As for Social Circle, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Jones County and Social Circle should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Greyhounds will face off against Stockbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (46 vs. 291). Meanwhile, Social Circle (ranked 31st) will meet Winder-Barrow (ranked 117th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
