Baseball Recap: McKay Takes a Loss

McKay extended their losing streak to 22 on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-25. They came up short against the Roosevelt Roughriders, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royal Scots of the 34-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

As for Roosevelt, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-17. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games.

For Roosevelt's part, Quincy Jensen was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Jensen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luis Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs.

As of now, neither McKay nor Roosevelt have any future games scheduled.
