Recap: Cottonwood Colts vs. American Heritage Patriots
On Friday, Cottonwood wrapped up 2023 with a 52-38 victory over American Heritage. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cottonwood.
Among those leading the charge was Ashlyn Tripp, who scored 18 points. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for her. Ciel Budge was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Cottonwood now has a winning record of 6-5. As for American Heritage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
Cottonwood won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East at 1:30 p.m. on December 30th. American Heritage and St. Joseph will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
