Softball Recap: Miller County's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Miller County had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 14-7 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

As for Pataula Charter Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Pataula Charter Academy's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zyion Clark, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Clark has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.
