Football Game Preview: Isle vs. Cromwell

On Friday Cromwell take on Isle at 7:00 PM. Isle will need to watch out since Cromwell have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.

Cromwell put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered Carlton 51-14. Senior Kannon Korpela, who rushed for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Cromwell's success.

Meanwhile, Isle got themselves on the board against Onamia, but Onamia never followed suit. Isle took the matchup and then some with a 78-0 victory over Onamia. Isle were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped Isle to 2-3 and Cromwell to 6-0. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
