Basketball Recap: Peninsula Comes Up Short

Peninsula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 45-29 to the Mira Costa Mustangs. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Mira Costa, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Peninsula will look to defend their home court on Friday against West at 5:30 p.m. As for Mira Costa, they will take on El Segundo at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
