Fullington Academy can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Southland Academy Raiders 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since March 19, 2024.

Bryson Faulk made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Faulk was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Blake Hendrickson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Augie Harris was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Fullington Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-17. As for Southland Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-18.

Looking ahead, Fullington Academy will head out on the road to challenge Terrell Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southland Academy, they will welcome Georgia Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
