Soccer Game Preview: Shadow Hills vs. Arlington

The Shadow Hills Knights will venture away from home to take on the Arlington Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Shadow Hills is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Brea Olinda just ended the team's three-match winning streak last Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Shadow Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 383rd, while Brea Olinda are ranked 155th).

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Arlington's offense. They fell just short of King by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for Arlington in their meetings with King: they've now lost three in a row.

Shadow Hills now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Arlington, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
