Baseball Game Preview: ASPIRA Charter Wolves vs. Archmere Academy Auks

The ASPIRA Charter Wolves will face off against the Archmere Academy Auks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. ASPIRA Charter's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three games, but Tuesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

ASPIRA Charter fell victim to Mount Pleasant and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Green Knights, falling 17-0.

Meanwhile, Archmere Academy faced Sanford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Auks fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-2. That makes it the first time this season the Auks have let down their home crowd.

Archmere Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shane Harding, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Archmere Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for ASPIRA Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.
