Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 35-25 victory over Lake Balboa College Prep on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Vipers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lara Ledesma was her usual excellent self, putting up 29 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences' points.

Meanwhile, Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 22-21 heartbreaker at the hands of Vaughn.

Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences' victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences took their win against Fulton when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 44-20. Will Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences repeat their success, or does Fulton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
