Providence Day in Charlotte features two of the top 10 players in the country.

We have looked at the top quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, defensive linemen, linebackers and defensive backs. Now we zone in on the top 10 players in high school football regardless of position heading into the 2024 season.

A quarterback takes home the No. 1 spot as Bryce Underwood of Belleville (Mich.) is our top-rated player. The senior signal caller is 1,637 yards away from surpassing Jason Fracassa's state record of 10,615 career passing yards. Underwood took home the MaxPreps Freshman and Sophomore Player of the Year awards in back-to-back seasons and was a first team choice on the 2023 MaxPreps Junior All-America squad.

Julian Lewis of Carrollton (Ga.) was the only other quarterback selected. He reclassified to the Class of 2025 in January and through his first two years of high school he has thrown for 7,212 yards and 96 touchdowns. Lewis is the first of three players from the Peach State.

Texas and North Carolina were the only other states to have multiple selections. Dakorien Moore of Duncanville (Texas) and Devin Sanchez of North Shore (Houston) represent the Lone Star State. David Sanders Jr. and Kendre Harrison of Providence Day (Charlotte, N.C.) were both selected from the Tar Heel State. Harrison announced he was transferring from Reidsville (N.C.) last week.

California and Louisiana join Michigan as states with one selection.
