Softball Recap: Metter Takes Down Georgia School for Innovation & Classics in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Metter had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since August 28th.

The victory made it two in a row for Metter and bumps their season record up to 15-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Georgia School for Innovation & Classics, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-12.

As of now, neither Metter nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
