Soccer Recap: Argonaut Takes a Loss

Argonaut and Hilmar squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Argonaut had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hilmar Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Argonaut's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Hilmar, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Argonaut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hilmar, they will challenge Liberty Ranch at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hilmar is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.
