Basketball Recap: Central Bucks West Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Central Bucks West played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 victory over the North Penn Knights. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bucks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st, while the Knights are ranked 187th).

Central Bucks West's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-11. As for North Penn, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Central Bucks South the next time they take the court. North Penn will head out to face Central Bucks South at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Central Bucks West will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
