After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norcross, Berkmar was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Gwinnett Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout. That looming 4-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Berkmar yet this season.

They hit North Gwinnett with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from George Tabot, Frankmauro Ferreras, Yakubu Mohammed, and Eric Mendez.

Berkmar moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for North Gwinnett, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Berkmar and North Gwinnett will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Patriots see the pitch they'll take on Lanier at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for North Gwinnett, their break will end when they face Seckinger at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th.
