Recap: Frazier Commodores vs. Monessen Greyhounds

The Frazier Commodores lost against the Monessen Greyhounds back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Frazier fell 46-35 to Monessen. Frazier has struggled against Monessen recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Allie Yauch and Chloe Harger certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Yauch scored 15 points along with four steals, while Harger scored ten points along with six rebounds and five steals. Yauch has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.

Frazier has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Monessen, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frazier will take on Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Washington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Monday. As for Monessen, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Geibel Catholic at 7:00 p.m. Geibel Catholic is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
