Soccer Recap: Kearny Takes a Loss

Kearny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Christian Patriots, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, the Komets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 922nd, while the Patriots are ranked 433rd).

Kearny's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Christian, the win got them back to even at 5-5-3.

Kearny didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 defeat against Canyon Hills on the 24th. As for Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against Madison on the 24th.
