Softball Recap: Wilburton Falls to Howe in First Game of Season

Wilburton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Howe Lions by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Howe has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilburton will challenge Quinton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Howe, they will be playing at home against Mountain View-Gotebo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
